Obstacles Faced by Agents When Selling to the Hispanic Marketplace

It's more than just an language barrier, it’s a completely different culture and approach to insurance. Dulce Suarez-Resnick will talk about the culture, the generational differences and how to approach the topic of insurance in her breakout session at NAIFA Performance + Purpose. She will also cover the market place,  the distribution methods and marketing  to this segment of the population. 

Dulce Suarez-Resnick joined NCF Insurance Associates in 2009. She specializes in personal lines and commercial habitation risks, such as Condominiums and Homeowners Associations. Recently, she was chosen as 1 of the 10 finalists out of 77 applicants for the position of Insurance Commissioner of the State of Florida. She was Past President of the local chapter of the NAIW (National Association of Insurance Women) and the LAAIA (Latin American Association of Insurance Agencies) and has chaired the Legislative Committee of both associations. This breakout session is in partnership with LAAIA.

With an extensive background in the financial services industry dating back to 1969, John does extensive seminars, advanced joint sales work, recruiting and the development of the agency’s financial planning endeavor. Mark Acre is President of the Ozark, Mo.-based OneSource Insurance Group, a company he launched in 2007. Mark started his own agency in 2007 where he serves clients in all lines of insurance.
