This year's NAIFA Performance + Purpose Conference offers educational workshops for every stage in your career. Thursday's YAT panel will not disappoint! NAIFA members Kathleen Owings, Corey Anderson, Taylor Sledge lead this workshop. They will each talk about the challenges they faced during their road to success and the lessons learned along the way.
Each presenter will share their own experience in the industry. Kathleen Owings will talk about lessons she learned from her time in the Army and how they helped with her career in financial services. Taylor Sledge's presentation will cover how he made Top of the Table by the time he was 30 while Corey Anderson's presentation will include the role NAIFA played in his success.
Kathleen is one of the owners of Westbilt Financial Group, a comprehensive financial services firm in Colorado Springs, Colorado and currently serves as the NAIFA Colorado State President. Last year she was honored as one of the NAIFA “4 Under 40” winners. Since 2007, Taylor Sledge has enjoyed the ride of the financial business. He joined the business straight out of college, and after a rough patch in his first year, he squeaked into MDRT. Today, Taylor spends his time working with Entrepreneurs and self driven people, aiding them in solving problems and finding ways for them to create progress in their lives and businesses. Commonly known as the “Disability Insurance Geek”, Corey Anderson helps to provide peace of mind for individuals, families, and business owners to preserve their way of life in the wake of an unfortunate event. He has presented on the topic at numerous industry meetings and is a proud member of the International Disability Insurance Society. Corey was honored with the NAIFA National Young Advisor Leader of the Year award in 2012.
The YAT Panel is scheduled for Thursday, September 12 at 1:00 pm at NAIFA P+P.
